Gerardo Hernandez, Ramon Labanino, Fernando Gonzales, Antonio Guerrero and Rene Gonzales are innocent prisoners of imperialism. Their brutal treatment only serves to highlight the hypocrisy that behind the so-called war on terrorism lies the attempt by the United States, Britain and other imperialist nations to imprison the whole world.

Some of our Midlands comrades are with you in London today. Others of us can not be with you because we are campaigning in support of the Palestinian people. But, though we are separated by 100 miles, our cause is united. The Palestinian people are bravely defying the murderous forces of the Zionist terror state and their imperialist pay masters. The Miami 5, like the whole Cuban people, have stood toe to toe with the Empire for over 40 years, and never given an inch. Cuba and the five heroes of the republic stand as a beacon of hope that imperialism can be defeated, that the working people of the world will one day smash capitalism and build a better world, a socialist world.
